The Aero Buses introduced by JR Bus companies throughout Honshu were particularly well-known among fans due to their distinctive specifications, which strongly inherited the specifications of the former Japanese National Railways highway buses.
While its exterior is not significantly different from a standard Aero Bus, it was equipped with a turbocharger to meet the specifications required by JR Highway Bus, and featured numerous differences from the commercially available model, such as a gear ratio set for higher speeds and a foot-operated horn switch. Although its model designation was "MS725SA改" and it was treated as a modified commercially available vehicle, it was effectively a model specifically for JR Highway Bus.
