The Honda NSX, a mid-engined sports car, debuted in 1990. Its driver-centric design philosophy had a significant impact on sports cars worldwide. Initially launched with a 3-liter engine, it also made headlines when it was used as a patrol car.

TLV-NEO introduces a new version of the ever-popular NSX. The police car is a reproduction of the early model. This police car differs from the later model model previously released as LV-N248a not only in parts such as the wheels, but also in the presence or absence of the "POLICE" lettering and the shape of the red lights.
The rear engine hood is retractable.
