The Honda NSX, a mid-engined sports car, debuted in 1990. Its driver-centric design philosophy had a significant impact on sports cars worldwide. Initially launched with a 3-liter engine, it also made headlines when it was used as a patrol car. In 1997, a minor redesign was implemented, enlarging the engine to 3.2 liters, and the Type S was added as a performance-focused model. Compared to the standard model, it featured a body weight reduction of approximately 45 kg and suspension settings optimized for circuit driving, further enhancing its character as a high-performance model and generating considerable buzz.

TLV-NEO introduces a new specification to the ever-popular NSX. The Type S now features a reproduction of the Monza Red color that was previously available as a custom order option.
The rear engine hood is retractable.
