The F50 is the successor to the F40, a limited edition car released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Ferrari's founding. Based on the concept of "an F1 that runs on public roads," it features a 4.6-liter V12 engine used in F1 cars, mounted in the center of a carbon composite monocoque body just like the F1. The roof of the actual car is removable, but the Hot Wheels version uses a new mold to recreate the closed state, molded into one piece with the body. Other highlights include the silver-painted wheels with a star pattern and the vividly printed lights.
